Back in 2009 I did some maternity photos for Tracy and Joey. Their little boy was born that May and in December of last year they welcomed baby boy #2! So they came out to my house this weekend for some photos of their family of four.

The couple, Kristy and Quin, were married in March of 2009. I love this picture! I have a sample copy of their wedding album that I show potential clients and this picture never fails to get an “Oh! I love this!” type of reaction.
But now I love this picture, too:
Because Kristy and Quin had a baby! :) I went out to their house recently to take some newborn pictures of Baby V. She’s adorable! Lots of hair, chubby cheeks, and those thighs! Take a look for yourself:

Congratulations, Kristy and Quin! V is gorgeous! Thanks for letting me share in your early days of parenthood. It just gets better and better… now go get some sleep! ;)
How cute is this family?? Lindsey, Chris, and four-month old baby K met me at my favorite park in Leesburg for a quick photo session while the leaves were still pretty and the weather was cooperative. It was chillier than expected, and a little windy, but the trees were gorgeous and the baby was adorable. Can’t beat that!

I met Stephanie and Cliff back in April and have been looking forward to their wedding ever since! Fun couple, beautiful dress, and a bride who keeps her cool under pressure. We won’t go into all the details of why I know this, but let’s just say that Stephanie deserves a wedding day medal. Or two. :)
They were married at the Holy Rosary church in D.C. and partied the night away at the Hamilton Crowne Plaza. And by “partied the night away” I mean that the deejay was the real deal… a club deejay who knew what he was doing! Awesome music and a super energetic crowd! I haven’t had that much fun at a reception in a long time!

The gnats were out in full force and the sun was beating down on us, but it was totally worth it! We had a blast with Rebecca and Jamison, wandering around her parents’ Clifton property and then taking a quick jaunt into the historic downtown Clifton area. My husband has been friends with Rebecca’s dad for many years and has known Rebecca since she was a little girl. We are so happy to see her so in love! Jamison is a great guy and they make such a cute couple! We are really looking forward to their wedding in the fall of 2012 and can’t wait to celebrate with their families!
Thanks for putting up with the crazy heat, you two! Congratulations on your engagement… we can’t wait for next fall!
Rebecca and Jamison rock! 90 degrees and only getting hotter, but they meandered through fields, kissed under the grapevine, climbed aboard an old caboose, and wandered down the train tracks, too. Fun day! More pictures to follow… stay tuned!
